Make your gamer tag stand out
Names with symbols are everywhere in gaming, and a name like ๊ง๐๐ต๐ช๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ท๐ฎ๊ง or โฌโฌฮนโโโ๏บค ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐ gets noticed in a lobby, on a leaderboard or in a clan list. Type your tag above and every style updates at once: wings, swords, brackets, gothic letters, outline letters, glitch effects and more.
Will it work in my game?
Every game sets its own rules for names, and there's no way to know for sure until you try:
- Some games accept Unicode names. Most styles here will work.
- Some only allow letters and numbers. The game will refuse fancy characters, and only plain text works.
- Some accept the name but can't draw it. You'll see boxes or question marks because the game's font doesn't include those characters.
If a style fails, try a simpler one. Bold sans, small caps and outline letters use the most widely supported characters. Decorative frames and glitch effects are the most likely to be blocked.
Tips for a good tag
- Keep it short. Name fields often have tight limits, and frames take up several characters.
- Make it typeable. Friends need to find and invite you. If your whole tag is styled, they can't type it. Many players keep a plain version of the same name for searching.
- Check the rules. Some games and communities don't allow names that are hard to read or impersonate others.
Clan and team names
Brackets are a classic for team tags: ใ๐ช๐ข๐๐ใ, ใNOVAใ, โฆ๐โง. Pair a short styled tag with your plain name for a clean, readable look.

Nickname and name font ideas
Use this page as a nickname font or a name font maker: type your name, pick a style, and paste it into your game profile. If a game rejects some letters, the names symbols keyboard approach still works: add a few symbols from the symbols page on either side of a plain name instead.
