Fonts for your TikTok bio and nickname
TikTok shows your bio, nickname and captions in one fixed typeface. To stand out, you paste text that is already styled. Everything on this page is made of Unicode characters, so it shows the same way on every viewer's phone, and nothing needs to be installed.
Where it works, and where it doesn't
- Nickname (display name): works. This is the name shown above your videos and on your profile.
- Bio: works. The bio has a short character limit, so check the counter after pasting.
- Captions and comments: work.
- @username: does not work. TikTok only allows letters, numbers, underscores and periods there.
How to add a style
- Type your name or bio line in the box above.
- Tap a style to copy it.
- In TikTok, go to your profile, tap Edit profile, and paste into Name or Bio. Save.

new video every friday ↓
Notice the pattern: a soft styled name, one line saying what you post, and plain words for the part people need to act on, like "new video every Friday".
Keep your account easy to find
TikTok search reads plain letters. If your niche is only written in fancy text, people searching for it may not find you, so put your topic in normal words somewhere in your bio. Hashtags should always be typed normally so they stay clickable.
For decoration, mix in star symbols, bows or a kaomoji. Posting on other apps too? See Instagram fonts.
