Text symbols you can paste anywhere
Every symbol on this page is a standard Unicode character, the same system your phone uses for letters and emoji. That means they work almost anywhere you can type: messages, bios, documents, spreadsheets, code comments and game chats.
Most of them are text symbols, not emoji. They take the colour and size of the text around them, which makes them look neater in a sentence or a list. A few, like ✔, ❤ and ☀, have an emoji version too, and some phones show those in colour.
Popular ways to use symbols
- Bios and captions: a ♡ or ✧ to finish a line.

- Prices and maths: € £ ₹ ± × ÷ ≈ when your keyboard doesn't have them.
Why a symbol might show as a box
If you see an empty box or a question mark, the device viewing it doesn't have a font with that symbol. The common ones here, like hearts, stars, arrows and check marks, are supported almost everywhere. Rarer decorative symbols may not appear on older phones.

Pretty, simple and everyday symbols
If you only want a handful of pretty symbols, look at the heart, star and flower sets first. There are also symbols often picked for men's bios and usernames, such as crosses, arrows and bold geometric shapes, plus rows of dots and colons that work as quiet dividers. A right mark or tick lives in the check mark set.
